I'm putting on my sparco hood pins tomarrow,and I just want to know befor I drill into my hood....Is there a right way to put them on.Meaning with the pins facing up down or right left?

 

I think its pretty much a matter of taste as to how you want the finished product to look on the hood. Mine are slanted to follow the curved contour of the edge of the hood.

 

I just got my CF hood installed...I havent bought the hoodpins yet (will do that this weekend) is sparco the brand you guys would suggest? I would ONLY buy a set that was the sparco style... but I dont want the one's with the locks....

Mine are a "generic" Sparco style. I compared them to my friend's Sparco's and they are almost identical. The main difference I found was that mine came with rivets and his had screws. The materials may be different as well because his seem heavier, but mine perform very well and I'm happy with them. His actually seem to be weathering more severely than mine.
