I heard from a friend that a company makes a half rad for the crx anyone know of it and have pics?

you can just use the 92-00 civic radiator. From what I know, its a little taller, so you have to lean it back just a little. My buddies used the fluidyne 92-00 radiator in his crx and it works perfect

 

No there is a company that has a alum rad thats ffor the CRX for a half rad

 

The company is called C&R and it was in the Modified Magazine for the month of March. I was just wondering if anyone has this rad in there car????? Pics???? I know I can use the 92-95 Civic rad but this rad is a bolt in and requires no mods..

I just bought the C&R radiator for the 92 civic for my crx. its not installed yet but will be soon

did it come with a fan and how much was it?

 

C&R makes a half rad for the CRX that fits in the stock place so you dont have to deal with it being to high

 

do you have a site for them?

 

mines on order (the C&R 88-91 civic/crx half size that mounts in stock locations) ill take pics after i put it in.

EDIT: to answer the original question - the company is C&R.. but good luck trying to get one unless someone has them in stock because Rob from C&R LAGS.

 

anyone know a cheaper place to get them at cause if you buy them from c&r it is over 500 after shipping?

 

The poor man's method is the Dodge Neon radiator. Get one for a '95 Neon. Do a search to find more on it.

 

PWR also makes one that is the same size as the 92-95 radiator but is sideways.so it clears without having to tilt it back.call them and ask for colin and say you are looking for the civic radiator that is a 92-95 dimension.if you have problems IM me and ill holla at ya.hopefully my picture works

I got a 92-00 Half radiator from a radiator shop in town brand new for $100. It just took a little trimming on the hood but it fits fine.

I have a 92-95 radiator in my car, all I did was notch the crossmember with my cutoff tool and weld in some custom brackets the radiator sits straight and has no clearance issues, It was pretty simple and quick I would say it only took me and hour to do the entire install. I will try to get some pics up

 

do you think i could do it with a dremal?
