i f*cking hate my car
ok...first off, my car i the biggest piece of ****, it also has never ending problems. so heres my new problem. i have code 4. its the crank sensor. i know its in my dizzy, so i pulled it out and put in a ls dizzy. and i still have a code 4 and it runs like **** and on both dizzy's it wont rev past 3. also i have a b16 in it and i had to do the dpfi to mpfi. and i allready checked my wires and such. can someone help me out.
well...i just got done checking, eveything is in the right order, also my connections are not soldered. they are twisted are wraped by heat shrink. the weird part is, today my car was running great but sometimes it would throw the code 4 and now its stuck on code 4.
You probably should look into soldering your connections once you get the wires right. It is not that hard, and you dont want your ecu connections randomly disconnecting themselves which always happens with twisted/butt connectors.

I had the same problem. But I found out the bolts that hold the distributor to the head worked themselfs loose. Tightened them up and haven't had the code 4 since. I hope it doesn't come back. Sucks when you can't rev past 4000rpm
ok...i'll try that in a few minutes, but the weird par is, on my b16 ecu i have a code 4 and 14. and on the hf ecu i have a code 20. and the car runs great. now wtf is going on? also, when u do a mpfi witch plug should go on the iac valve? the green plug?

when you have never ending problems with a car, just get rid of it. That is what I did and I am happy that I did. No more money out of the pocket for parts....good luck on fixing your car, keep us posted. So if I ever decide to get a b16 and I have the same problem then i will know what to do.
lol, thanks man, but the thing that pisses me off, was that for the first time, it was runing soooooo good.and now this 1 dam code thing thats throwing everything off.
I was throwing a code 6 that wouldn't go away.
I had the two plugs twisted around each other prior to being plugged in and the wires were being pulled.
I untwisted the plugs and the problem went away.
