Is it limited 112? and if any of you rechipped your ecus, what's yours top out at?

mine goes to the max... stock ecu se 91

 

only some of the overseas and canadain cars have the speed limiter.

all us models usually are power/ drag limited to about 130 ISH (not positive of exact number as it varies and the speedo is not even certified which means it could be slightly inaccurate at speeds that high.)

 

what about the ex?? mine has I/H/E and it topped out at 125 mph. is there a difference in the cu and limiter or are they (the ecu's) all the same??

 

i think they say ex's are heavier, hence the power increase is not sufficient to pull the increased weight over the lx....that's for the 94....not sure what it is for the 90

 

what are the best aero enhancements to increase the drag-limited top speed?

 

I've had my 90 EX bottomed out w/ intake at 130, it may be off but thats what the speedometer said

my 91 lx topped out at approximately 122 and a buddy of mine in a 93 lx did the same. we both had exhaust and intake at the time...if that helps out any

top speed dotn go by mods that you did or doing to your car is all in ECU's so if u wanna go fatster rechip it or get diffrent ecu i have a JDM P13 H22A and i top out at 116 MPH sux when u have one more gear to go and its at VTEC point of engagment
