Default 93 accord-Fried Engine?

My 93 accord is leaking antifreeze out of the bottom of the timing belt cover. It comes out as fast as I can pour it in. Any guesses as to the probable problem before I start pulling it apart? The engine still runs fine but it's making some noises that don't sound good. Thanks

Sounds like the water pump is fried. Was it changed semi-recently, or with the last timing belt? If not, then that's most likely it. Try taking the belt off and spinning the w/p pulley by hand to see if it spins freely and smoothly.

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming that when I turn the w/p pulley if it doesn't turn freely that the noise I'm hearing might be coming from the w/p.
This is actually my sons car and he is wondering what it would take to put an H22 engine into it if this motor ends up toast. What little I've heard is that the tranny has to be changed out also is that correct? Anything else? Thanks again!

honda waterpumps use an 0-ring type gasket to seal the waterpump. It most likely got hard/brittle, and broke.

As for the H22, you can use the stock accord transmission, and it will work fine.
However you wont have the greatest gear ratios, and the car may fall out of vtec
between shifts. I'm pretty sure any F22, H22, or H23 trans wil work with the H22 engine, and vice versa. Good Luck

Yea its probably a bad water bump... that would be guess on why its leaking underneath the timing belt cover...
