Again, these are dirty. It's been snowing, sleeting, and raining in the Metro Boston area for the last couple days. Strange April weather. But I couldn't resist taking pics of this beauty anyway.

isnt "5Zigen" pronounced 5-design?? i remember reading it in a mag.

 

I know the five is pronounced as "go" b/c it's a japanese name. This was confirmed by the japanese model from Project D last year at HIN. She was a model for the 5Zigen booth at the 2002 Tokyo Auto Salon.

 

Like the guy above me said, it's pronounced "go zee gen" with a hard g. But yeah I've heard companies like 5Zigen and Racing Hart are Japan's APCs.

 

5Zigen. Zigen is the japanese word for dimension. so 5 dimensions is what it means.

nothing wrong with saying "five" zigen because most people wont know that zigen means dimensions. and yes 5 in japanese is "go"

Any specific reason why? Just wondering cause me and my friends have delt with them before with no problems...well other than taking a long time to ship stuff out.

 

Hi guys. I've been waiting for the crazy New England weather to come around before I wash my car and post more pics. Yesterday I took the car skiing in Vermont (warm sunny day) and today it's pounding rain if that give you any indication of how strange it's been.

Thanks for your replies. Believe me or not, but I do feel a small increase in horsepower...especially with the AEM CAI V2. The car is more fun to drive now.

I've got the same exhaust. I love how it sounds.. Deep, but not annoyingly deep. hard to explain.
but also, i always pronounce it "Five Zig En".. hopefully i dont sound liek a dumbass? hah

 

That truck is a project of the garage owner's son. It has air suspension or whatever you call it.

 

I have the same exhaust on my car and didnt clean it off after all the snow, now it just looks liek crap, and the rear of my car always scrapes so the bottom looks like a skateboard.

air bags, i couldnt tell b/c i couldnt see a notch, the pic was kinda dark.
