Hey, i know that you guys are just going to tell me to go out and try it and not ask here but i don't have my car back yet. I have an 89 crx si, with the a6 motor with only I/H/E. The celica has a muffler, (ricey celica), and a big *** wing that will probably slow him down if anything. He's also not the best driver, he's ok, it's just i think i'm a bit better. Do you think i could beat him or do you think i would need the delta camshaft profile 272 to do it??? what do i need?

I pulled on a gts with a stock 1st gen b16a with vafc in an ef, but once the supercharger started to pull he gained the car length back and pulled a car ahead by 3rd.

 

if it is a new celica GTS I am amazed that a guy can even fit in the car. those things have less room for 4 passengers than my CRX.
doubt an A6 will toast him. I beaten GTS' in my rex but I have a b16a.

 

he should beat you. unless of course he really can't drive. i guess you'll never really know til it happens though.
