removing rear hatch glass
if I wanted to go about removing a rear hatch glass window, how would i do such a thing?
I know many of you have replaced your rear window with lexan or equivalent...
how did you manage to take it off...was it difficult in itself?
TIA

yeah! quite hard to remove
have a friend... and 2 vise grip.. a multi ply metal cord (like bike brake cable) and a long knife...
1- remove all the molding around the window.... remove the most you can..
2- in a corner with the knife try to make a hole in the euthane betwen the window and the hatch
3- took the visegrip and put the cord in the hole... and with your friend.. make a movement of saw.. (one vise grip on each side on the cord)
4- take it easy.. its long and hard
:\
i made it like that with good result!
