my friend helping me with my swap said in the h22 distributor there are four extra wires coming out... anybody have a diagram about this or know which these wires are?
*if its any help its a jdm h22 into a 96 accord... thanks

 

'96 JDM H22 = OBDII?!? or OBDI?!?

Should be an internal coil for the distributor vs. the F22 external coil. Are you going to keep it external or convert to internal?

For my swap ('94 JDM H22 into '94 Accord EX) I kept it internal and used a distributor cap from a '92-95 Civic DX.

 

2 should be obd2

 

if you are using a internal distrib use a gsr distr cap bolts up and if your using da external one jes use da 95 usdm h22

oh crap... so this is what happened with my thread... i lost it... haha... but yea.. i dunno which way to go? internal vs. external i'm planning to make my car legal in cali with the bar certified sticker... will it matter which way i go?

 

go with external coil because if your distrib craps out then you can find a external distrib because its easier to find

the internal one only comes on jap spec so it will b harder to find ,if it craps out.
