Front suspension install quesiton
me and my buddy are installing a set of springs/shocks onto someone else's 94 RS and I just had a quick question. When removing the front strut assembly, do you need to remove the bolts that hold in the front stabilizer bar? Cause in this Hayne's manual I have it says to do so in the instructions but in numerous internet sites with directions, it says you don't have to. But if you don't, how can u push down on that whole rotar/brake assembly thing to loosen out the shock??
Hmm --- Do you mean the front strut bar or the front sway bar?
If you mean the sway, then no. If you mean the strut bar, then of course, because you need to get the strut bolts off.

yeah i mean the sway bar, underneath the car..
but i don't see how u can take out the shocks without removing the bolts for the bar?
