does anyone know for sure if the jdm 88-91 ef8/ef9's came with amber clocks? or where they white like the usdm ones? thanks!

 

They where amber, well some of them

 

OT bet still cool. If you disassemble your clock and remove the red lens inside of the clock, the clock will light up green. It matches Eclipse cd players perfectly and is a shade greener than a VAFC display. Just though I'd share.
