Tein RA setup>>what exactly do I need to change to a 88 CRX componet?
I am close to buying the RA setup from tein. I know that you need to change the rear control arm to a 88 CRX piece, I have heard that the USDM ITR rear control arm will work as well? I have a rear disc conversion from a 93 GSR on my 1990 HB right now, that includes the trailing arms. My question is: what exactly do I need to change back there to install the Tein RA setup. If anyone has pics that would be awesome!! Also any opinions on the Tein RA setup are welcome!!
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
88/ITR LCA's are box type (ball and eye) the 90's and pretty much all other honda's are fork type. Once you get your RA's you will understand more.
nice! that is what I thought the difference was...just wanted to clarify...
Thanks guys!
Thanks guys!
88s being the way they were had a type of passive rear steering. So thats also a bonus for you (also why the 89-91s didn't have them).

89-91 dont have passive rear steering because of the way they are made. (fork type) ITR and 88 both have the passive rear steering.

so is the 88/ type are steering looked at as being better then the 89-91 steering? Or is it a personal opinion thing?
It will be a Tein RA setup, unless someone can show me another setup that offers the ajustability and is in the same price range. I want a suspension that I can "grow into", I have had a soft spring rate on other cars and don't care for them that much. I build my cars for function...purely function. I want a car that will perform...comfort is not the issue here.
