People have been saying hmotorsonline has been slipping. I must say this is not the case with me. I just got my B18c running from there and it purs like a kitten and runs really stong. The only bad thing was that i got the motor about a week late which set me back but its all good. Over all i would give them an 8 out 10 b/c of it being a week late.....hollaz

 

yeah, steve NEVER ships stuff out when he says he will.

I always wait a week, call him, and then he says 'oh you haven't gotten it yet. I'll go send it out right now'...and then I finally get it

i couldnt belive it.

of course it dosent RUN but thats another story (new dist is comming from his now )

steve owns. too bad he dosent sell nissan motors.

When I got my h22 from him like couple months ago thing was clean as hell. When I changed the belts on it, they were all stock belts, and compared them to the news ones I bought especially the new timing belt, the motor must have like 30,000 miles on it give or take. So he hooked me up pretty good. But im still waiting for a knock sensor from him cuz it came broken but oh well.

It will be 1 year since my purchase of a '94 JDM H22 (w/ LSD) and 13K miles later. ****** pulls hard to this day and no problems! When the motor was shipped, everything was included!! Nothing was broken!!

I will definitely buy from him again when the time comes.
He gets a BIG from me.

 

Some have problems with while some dont. I happend to have a problem with him. He told me that he didnt have a USDM B20Z and that the JDM B20B was the same plus it came w/ the LS style IM. Right there I shouldnt figured out he was full of himself. NO high compression B20 came with the LS style IM. I got the lower compression one. AND he charged me for the higer compression motor as well.

Other then that, eveything seems ok so far... but the engine has yet to be installed and the problem i had was pretty signifigant....

hell yeah HMO is great. at first i was sketchy on where to order my h22a from...i had read many posts on who was good and who was not. i eventually made my mind up and bought my motor from steve. here is a couple of pix when i got my motor


i did only have two problems, but both were fixed very quickly by steve. my tps was cracked, but they usually are on shipped motors. and my starter was bad. i told steve and within a week i had the parts replaced. the motor runs strong, and i have had no problems yet. i was very impressed with how clean the motor came, and very glad to see how well steve works with his customers.

Steve gets anything for me. Some times hes given me some questionable swaps and he never ships out on time. For the most part hes been good though. He gets an 8 out of 10. I heard Osaka is improving though. Right now i no longer need to order swaps from an outside sources.

 

What do you guys pay for the shipping on hmotor?? i would like to know thanks you

 

I think I paid around $300. And almost all of HMO's engines come as clean as that. He does a good job prepping them. But I'd have to agree, he needs to do something about his timelyness. It takes a while to get stuff. I'll buy from him again though.

As for his customer service, I wouldn't go with anyone else. I got my b16 almost a year ago and bout 16,000 miles ago. No problem whatsoever, and when i got it nothing was missing, just BE PACIENT

 

All i have to say about HMO is that steve is a very honest guy if you have a problem give him a call and he will work it out. He may be hard to contact sometimes but he is a very busy person. HMO

I emailed Steve...he is slow on replys. I emailed him like 1 week ago and he still hasn't responded. Oh well, I definately will probaly only buy an engine from him...I have heard nothing but good things about him and hmotors.

I got my B16a with Y1-LSD from them. Its been running perfect for 2 weeks now. for Hmotors.
