Default Whats Your Opinion On SPC Balljoints?

I'm wondering if anybody is using SPC Performance adjustable balljoints as factory replacements on a 4th and 5th generation lowered Honda Accord and what are your opinions on them?

Heard they are good stuff... but they are a bit pricey... but at least the ball joints wont push out your control arms which means cuttin and shaving of the inner fender wall... thats wat i had to do when i got my ingalls pivot joint camber kits for my 4th gen... but its all good... the control arm clears with no probs but yea if u have the money go with the ball joint...

Dont have experience with the adjustable ball joints but i did go with SPC for all four corners. In front i went with the adjustable anchor bolts. Ive heard that the adjustable ball joints (just in general not SPC) can give you problems on take off. Thats why i went the anchor bolt route. Have had no problems...just a little noise sometimes. If you dont wanna worry with modding the inner fender then ball joints might be your best bet.

good to hear that, since i noticed that group buy last night. i think the price was $149 shipped for the front 1.5 kit for my 88 crx, which is not bad!

I have them on my 4G. Easy install. Remember that big stud pokes up from the top robbing a little clearance there. But about three weeks later I noticed that the grease boots were already cracked! I talked to a tech. support guy at SPC and he said maybe it was a release agent used at the factory that caused the rubber to decay. I asked him if they would warranty a failure caused by lack of lubrication after the boots split and he said "I guess." After alignment the car still makes a sound like mud grips on a monster truck when I turn. I question whether the toothless align guy at NTB knew his shiot. He showed me the printout and it was in specs but something is wrong. I only got 'em cuz Skunk2 didn't offer their arms. I'm selling the Accord soon for parts for my EG anyway. Got the Skunk2 arms for that one and hope they're gonna be ok.
