Hey, it's getting really damn close to the Expo, is ANYONE in the Baltimore/DC area leaving like 4ish or later and interested in caravaning? I will be leaving right around 4, but can't leave earlier due to an exam. Riding up with a few more Rs would make it all the more fun.

Ross, I'm trying to leave the Baltimore area right around 4 or 4:30, you want to meet up here around then?
traffic is going to be f*cking insane leaving our area at that time. I will look on mapquest to see if it makes any sense for me to go through Baltimore, if not we can always meet up on the way.
My girlfriend is not coming to EXPO so obviously it would be nice to have some company on the road, if not in the car. Although there is an outside chance I may have a popular little H-T parcel...I mean person in the passenger seat.

I was thinking the same thing about Frederick, thanks Chris. If I leave my house at about 4, I could get to Frederick by like 4:45 probably. I don't know where down in DC you are, but it would probably be quicker to come up 270 to 70.

Yep, Catonsville. I live right off of Wilkens Ave., just inside the beltway. I cut through UMBC all the time on my way home from work. I drive a 96 GSR Sedan.
edit: BTW, you might have a little trouble making it to Frederick by 4:45 if you leave at 4. I worked in Frederick for the past 4 years and it took me right about 45 minutes to get there with no traffic. I'd allow for a couple of extra minutes, because rush hour usually starts right around 4 on Fridays.

It might take a little longer, but it seems 70 Westbound rush hour doesn't start quite that early. I suppose I should leave some extra time, just as a safety net. Maybe more like 5 or 5:15 to be in Frederick. And 0720, I had considered that, but it's going to be a 5 hour drive or so with no traffic, so I'm trying to get the hell outta here as early as possible. Being that we have to wake up at 6:30 on Saturday, I don't want to be showing up at 11:30 or 12 on Friday. If traffic winds up being absolutely horrendous, we'll just wait a bit, but otherwise, get on the road and up to Pittsburgh.
