I just finished painting my trunk piece today. Taffetta White. Sanded down for about 30 mins. Used two coats of taffetta white and 2 coats of clear coat. The only thing I'm worried about is how it would look on the car since its already night time here in ny. Hopefully it will match. My next project will be the side skirts. I will leave the rest black hence the name Panda EK.(even though it should be EJ ) Let me know what you guys think!!

R & S Strauss in ny. I bet you any auto store carries it! It was made by duplicolor.

hey, it comes in a spray can right?

i think i used a whole can of duplicolor on my headlights... (it was a small can).

i was thinking i could do my sideskirts, moldings, door handles, and lisence plate thing. how much do you think that much paint would cost?

 

I used about one can of taffetta white paint and about half a can of clear coat. It was about 5 bucks each can and they were small cans. I'm guessing... 6 cans of tafetta white which would be 30 + tax and 3 cans of clear coat which is about 15 + tax and sand paper 20 + tax for sand paper which is a total of maybe alittle over 80 bucks to paint all that. Its better than going to a shop to do it. They quoted me $245 just on the trunk piece. Thats wack y0!.....

Tomorrow I wil install the trunk piece and my valve cover that I painted but did not put on yet.
