Well the guy at customer service called me yesterday and told me that Acura was going to pay for the parts. That saved me about $500. I am not sure of all the stuff htey replaced besides the head gasket and all 16 valves. I have a few ?'s though. Should have the valve springs been replaced too? I was just wondering. How would they have known if they were bad? If it wasn't for Typermsm (Mike at IPS) that told me to call the customer service # I probably wouldn't have saved the $ that I did. The guy (at the 800#) told me that since I was honest with them he was going to help me out, and that is what he did. So Mike, since you saved me about the some amount of $ I was going to pay for my HID conversion look for me to be getting it sooner that I thought. The only thing now is that I have to pay about $1000 for labor and the work the machine shop did and I just a little shy of having the $. So now my car sits at the dealer locked up inside and I can't drive it. Anyone want to donate some $? I'll take names and remeber you and help you out if something bad happens to you.

 

No prob Corey Im glad they ended up helping you out, I knew they would. As far as did they replace what they needed to? I wouldnt worry about it because now that repair was done by acura so if there are any problems they should cover it.

 

Going to pick it up in the morning. I guess I am just too paranoid about the whole thing it being done right. The price got lower frome the last time I talked to them. Now I only owe $950. Thats better than $2000. I am just glad it is over and I am going to have my car back in a couple of hours.
