Thanks! I believe the interior (Leather Seats & embroidered carpet mats) were inspired by a similar setup by Kah Motor Singapore!
Yeap...
How much are they selling it in Malaysia?
I saw the advert in the papers while in Malaysia. Looks pretty good.
Frankly, the "facelifted" Proton Saga looks like a pile of crap. Sorry

They're selling it for only RM118,888, which is really cheap since the stock VTi is RM115,900 or something.
Yes, its just a cosmetic package, but the D17 is still cool.
Seems the Civic is getting more and more like that ugly-*** Toyota Altis, which was built for the Thai/Taiwanese market. The facelift Civic's going to have beige interior - YUCK!
Give me the RX over the facelift Honda R&D Thailand beige interior Civic! I don't like the Hybrid bumper - you can't fit the Sports Grille to it!
Facelift Saga? Thats just to prove that we're still a 3rd world country. It's a riceboy's delight though. Some moron young punk in one of those tailgated me while I drove my company RX from KL to JB. When I floored it the foo! was left far, far behind. Moron even cut the queue in a petrol station earlier. Mamma's boy was driving his mother and sister somewhere. Hahahahha!
Civic RX teached him some manners

How are they selling? As of today all Civic RX's are SOLD OUT! Maybe Honda Malaysia will build up another lot or two due to demand.
They should have done this in late 2001/early 2002. Anyway better late than never.
I wish they could add rear discs, rear antiroll bar, etc., but I guess thats why we have an aftermarket! Hahaha!

You really do like this RX don't you?
Haha.
Oh well, CBU cars are expensive in Malaysia, almost comparable or even more expensive compared to cars in Singapore.
[grumbles] Stupid COE [/grumbles]
Might make a trip down to Malaysia and check out the RX.
Would it be right to say it's just an RS with a few little upgrades?
And yeah, whats with the facelifted Saga? Haha. Little Riceboys with their "sports" mufflers and "clear, altezzas" trying to race in their what? SOHC 1.3l obsolete Mitsubishi Power Plants. Oh well.
But I must say them VR4 Hybrids are fast!
In Singapore, all you're allowed to do is like a change of the airfilter and sparkplugs. Nothing else
AND CARS ARE SO EXPENSIVE.
Haha.

lol - the RX has been in Thailand for more than a year now
they come in CTR white and black colours.. really nice
I never bothered to mention about it here though, since ppl here don't like sedans
Now they've released a new version of this car with a K20A - was displayed at the Thailand International Motor Show 2 weeks ago.. Only available in sedan form though..

Yes I believe Honda Malaysia sourced a lot of the parts from Honda Access Thailand & Honda Access Japan.
They also added
* wheels
* headlight finishers
* leather interior
* embroidered carpet mats
No foglights though!

I swear to god last summer at my dealership, a civic on the showroom floor had those exact wheels. I had just got my rotas and I was pissed when I saw those, but I'm sure they would be about $2g's new from Honda. Might as well get some Volks for that much bank.
If you guys wanna check out the new 2.0l i-VTEC powered Civic in thailand, and what it looks like - check this link out: http://www.ilovecivic.com
Another funky Honda that i'm sure you guys over in the USA/Europe have never heard about (except for the old oooold turbo version of it) is the Honda City - only available for the Asian market - Mugen even has a full blown kit for this car
http://www.hondacity4u.com - as far as I know, the Honda City is manufactured here in Thailand and sent all over Asia.
