That's not one of the real cars. That car was built by a local body shop.

What you saw was not the car in the above pictures. The car pictured above was not built or painted in Charlotte. I talked to Steve S. about the above pictured car at the gas station on N. Tryon last Sunday.

350 as in... The wrong engine for that car, or a Shelby GT350, which means it's not an "Eleanor?" Mildly curious.

If it is Eleanor, that is tiiite. If by some chance it isn't the real one, it is still bad-***. I think it is a moot point. That car, be it Elenor or not, is sick.

Initial D

 

There were actually about 10 Elanors made for the movie. 2 I know were destroyed and the others privately owned. There was one at the Tampa auto show a year ago.
