Default Finally finished my H22a!!!

Like the topic says... I finally got my JDM H22 finished and in my car. I have the h22a w/ intake, GReddy exhaust, and JG cam gears. I'm loving it! Best decision I ever made. Just thought I would share with you guys. I'm really excited. Goin to run it this weekend and will let you know what it runs at the track when I get back.

Alright I went to the track this weekend for the import showoff in Rockingham, NC. I didn't run as good of times as I would have liked but I didn't do bad for my first time on a track.

The best time I ran was a 15.866... but the most consistant numbers I ran was a 15.981 @ 89.29. You have to remember that I have an auto. tranny but headers, cam gears, and a 40 shot are going on soon. I'm going to do the 40 shot to get me out of the hole because I'm in a 4dr. so its a little heavy but I want to leave it full interior.

There were alot of people that I beat that ran their mouth while we were beside eachother waiting in line so it was fun.

I got my *** handed to me by a sleeper like mine though. It was a Volvo that looked stock. Now since it was a turbocharged Volvo I expected to get beat but WTF he killed me. I should've known when he did that huge burnout. Afterwards he told me I had a good run and he showed me under his hood. He had this huge turbocharger under that hood was unbelivable. So I don't feel so bad about getting beat by a volvo.

haha. yeah that Volvo is always down there, its very impressive.
really not bad for you, especially since it's your first time.

the nitrous will really get you going, i dropped right at a second off of mine at 1/8 mile strip.

yeah I figure a 40 shot will help get that weight going out of the hole w/o putting too much strain on the engine. First I'm going to get my cam gears and headers on. Then go with the 40 shot.
