Has anyone done a b16 into a crx HF. It is in and runs but it sometimes the engine dies when giving gas. It also backfires once in a while. Is there anything different from doing b16 with an SI (i.e wiring, vacuum lines).

I have a B20VTEC in my 89 HF. Make sure you cut wires B9 and B11. For some reason in the Hf only these wires can cause alot of havoc.

 

B9 is the back up light, and that will cause problems if you do not cut it. I don't know what b11 is but call ha sport and they can tell you

 

What does B11 do?

 

Im not sure exactly what B11 does but my hasport wiring diagram says to remove it.

 

B11 is the clutch input switch - reports when clutch is depressed - only on HF, not needed on anything else
