Default JDM front, or 98+ conversion with new paint?

I been thinking for awhile what I should do with my car as far as looks. Right now it's Paradise Blue Green Pearl with 94-97 bumpers, etc..

I'm stuck between a 98 conversion with a Championship White paint job, or super sonic blue... Or dropping a JDM front on my car and matching the paint.. probably near the same costs... then maybe painting the car a whole other color in a year or so...

Is JDM front that worth it? I mean by going with a 98+ but paint, I'll be like every other 98+ GSR..

Here is a pic of a paradise blue JDM front..

definetaly the JDM front especially if youre going to paint the car down the road anyway (i say leave it that color). and for future reference, this should've been in appearance (probably get more feedback there too)

nah ....the 98+ conversion and super sonic blue...jdm front = might as well buy an accord...the integra lights are so sleek and unique looking especialy at night when on and using h.i.d. or ss conversion...besides that though i just dont like the accord look...i have a 96 and i like the lights better on the 94-97 minus the bumper..i just like that open mouth look the 98+ has...so im keeping mines but want a itr lip and a 98+ rear bumper and all reds when i throw a fresh coat of cayenne red..
my opinion...your car...good luck...

i was in the same dilemma too? I wanted to do the jdm front, but it's way too much money, when it came down to it. I was looking at 1700 for the conversion, and another 1800 for the paint job. So that's about 4 grand, and I still look like other peeps rides.

Plus, where i live, many people already have the front end, painted championship white, etc. So i decided just to get a mugen copy lip for my 96 integra to keep it clean and simple. If i were you, i would just get a paint job and 98 front and back bumpers. And use the rest for building the motor.

If you have the funds, and the jdm front end is what you always wanted, then get it, but if your just doing it to jump on the band wagon, then i say no.

exactly the way I feel. JDM conversion will be my last upgrade after I finish the motor.

get a neon front end conversions, and paint it using some nice easter color pastels...pinks, purples, yellows...that would be sweet...

98+, R lip, whatever color u like...rest of $ -> engine

well, why did you put over 10k into your car before you put the jdm front end on?

would you really rather have i/h/e and jdm front end over 200+ whp and usdm front end?

also remember, canuck's car, has a lot of bling that makes his car look nice.
17" wheels w/big brakes
shaved moldings
itr wing
HID jdm front end

all that **** is not cheap

It all just comes down to personal prefernce. After i finished my motor, and i had 5k still laying around, I might consider a jdm front end. for that same money you could get a crx with b16 and goodies for the same price as a jdm front end.

Well, it all depends on where you get your parts. I built this car a lot cheaper than you expect, by looking for deals, and spending wisely. For example, my JDM front end cost me 1800 CAD or about 1160 US. I got my front end installed and my entire car repainted for $1000 CAD or 600 US. I made a deal with the body shop to do some shows to represent them.

I built the motor first so that there is some go to back up the show
