Okay, there is this very popular shop in Ga called Mahdavi motorsports.
i personally hate them.

but in a recent threads in their forum titles "NEED PSI",
they claim they have never seen a honda engine over 200 psi.

the mechanic is ARASH
my handle is B18C1

can yall read this and see what im missing here?is it me who is stupid or them
b/c from my understanding stock GSR's make over 200 easily if in good shape.

http://www.forumco.com/mahdavimotors...Shop+Questions

if i am right, would anyone like to argue with me, LOL i really hate that shop!

d00d, don't worry about them. They have some of the shittiest installs I have ever seen. I still don't understand why people go to them. And that Arash guy is a douche-bag in person too.

Yes a stock GSR engine in good shape can easily read over 200 psi doing a compression test. Either that Arash works exclusively on beat to hell engines...or he's talkin out his ***. One more reason I will stay away from Mahdavi, haven't heard anything positive about them at all.

My 94gsr stock motor with 120k miles had 220+ compression on all 4 cylinders. I did the compression check just last month.

Yah, it took them like over 2 years to get it running. Supposedly, it only runs high 11's

Well how sad is that. Then again the stock NSX engine they had probably only has 270 hp at the crank.

thanks for the reply on their site! looking good LOL.

this is the story and this is why i hate them:

there was this lady that went their b/c her check engine light was on, supposedly al they did was take out the check engine light bulb so the light would not come on. later her car finally gave way and the lady found out what had happen. there suppost to be getting sued for it!

if anyone else would post on there that would be nice. trying to give them a bad rep in the process i guess. i too have not heard anything good about them.

also, it is funny how people not from GA know about their rep. they must be really really bad.

thanks for the help guys.

Damn I'd be pissed if they did that to my car. They probably charged her out the *** too. I've heard alot of people do that to the ABS light though, because it gets annoying. I read some other posts on there and the only responses are..."Bring it down to the shop and we'll get it done for you." One such thing was an auto for a gsr and they said they didnt have an auto gsr ECU, but they could "get it to work." Im glad some people like ghetto *** **** done to their cars, but Ill stay away from them.

The brand of gauge used affects the absolute readings.
