does anyone know if there is an autocross at the meadowlands horse track on sunday april 6th? and if there is, where do i find info on directions/registration? i think this is with some bmw m3 club.

dude, take nj turnpike to exit 16W (not 16E), bear left off the exit ramp which will put you into the meadowlands loop road, and then look for the orange cones - easiest place to get to.

 

well, made it to the event. had a blast even though it was frickin freezin and frickin windy. i was surprised at how bumpy the lot was after my first run, but quickly got the hang of driving "duke's of hazard" style. chris s. and tad made it as well, so i had some good benchmarks to work against.

nate-i was the guy with the rear tires 10" off the ground in the stop box at the finish

 

i just saw that last line. i came in off route 3, and had the wonderful pleasure of driving all the way around the stadium/track etc. maybe it's easy coming from the pike, or if you know were you're going, but it was no cake walk for me.

damn you sts guys and your tires....awesome driving this weekend solo x. good to meet ya. on a good note i beat salerno, although we were both having off days, my day was a little less "off ". next time, when it's warm and i have fresh rubber, come on down....

your car looked awesome though. frickin fast any time you got the hammer down and weren't drifting. hearing it run down the back straight was wicked cool. sounded kinda f1 style when you were way up in the rev range. get some new rubber and you'll be rippin it up. congrats on beating salerno!

results still aren't up yet, but as far as the sts cars go, it was chris, then me, then tad. tad's still getting the hang of driving a fwd car though. look for him to get even faster.
