What was the SMALLEST factory (or aftermarket) front swaybar offered for the 92-95 Civics? I know,I've been against front bars for years, but my move to FSP and all the goodies that go with it necessitates a bar...
I'd like a bar of 19mm or less... The right size to increase turn-in and spring rates ever so subtly without the wheel-lift thing.

Thought about it but the car is still driven to events and many of the lots we run in aren't smooth at all. I feel there needs to be some sort of compliance in the car and 400# springs should be enough considering I really do have a STREET Prepared car...

Swaybars can have every bit as much a negative effect on ride quality. Thick enough, they can make going over single-wheel bumps a much harsher experience than, say, 400# springs, as they tie both wheels together. A spring is single-wheel compliant, in that respect.
EDIT: Clarified for solo-x. This is why sleep deprivation is bad for you, boys and girls....
A bar will limit roll better than no bar, so keeping the front closer to flat and keeping more weight on the inside. The tire will feel more lift, but there will be more weight on that side of the car.

Also, a sway bar does not make the inside wheel lighter, in fact, it pushes the inside wheel down more than running no bar.

edit: and to keep things on topic, i _think_ a front swaybar off a crx hf will fit. talk to chris shenefield.

yeah, street driving does get interesting with more then 400lb front springs. but i'm not suggesting going to 900lb springs either. 450fr will increase your front roll stiffness about the same as a 21mm bar and still not have the down-side of a swaybar making the inside tires light.

Can you get / buy / make an adjustable front bar? A longer lever arm will effectively soften the bar. I have an Excel spreadsheet which helps with these kinds of calculations, if that would help.
Saner performance fabricates custom front bars. They could probably help you out! I believe they advertise in GRM.
I am ignorant about front bars on Hondas, but I have investigated this heavily for other cars, so sorry if it's a dumb question.

You can do the 92-95 FSP Civic update/backdate and put a Civic 4 door LX front sway on your car (with the 4-door control arms). I think that is either 17mm or 19mm.
You can also do the same thing and use the 4-door lower rear control arms because they have the nub for the oem style of rear swaybar, so you could do the ITR rear swaybar (or a GSR rear swaybar if you don't want as much rear bar).
My 93 Dx hatch didn't have any swaybars, and I assume your coupe is the same way.

I did the control arms out back (for the TypeR bar, yes it has the Beaks kit) and I have front ones on the way... Mostly because the polybushings I had are shot and it it actually easier to just replace the entire arm, plus I get the holes now.
Know anybody with the small LX bar?

LX 4dr bar is the same 21MM as the SI and EX bars of the 2/3/and 4dr varieties..
