98+ Front End Conversion..... Pics inside!
I finally got some pics of my 98+ front end conversion w/ITR lip. I also had the front emblem shaved, and got some little OEM plugs for the licence plate holes(not pictured)
I think it looks VERY nice, and clean. My rims have just been coated gunmetal (charcol grey) and are comming back tommrow, so I think it will look even better. Well tell me what you think! BTW the tag was $2100 for the conversion, I got in an accident (curb) and insurance picked up everything but the new headlighs ($800.00 OWCH) Anyways for you who wondered what it would look like....

ya, but the porblem was neither my headlights, fenders, or hood was dammaged in accident, so I couldent get that much outta insurance.
Did it require 98+ headlights to do the convesion from 97 to 98+ or can you use the 97s ? they dont fit or something?

very very nice, but i notice that your WW side skirts hang lower than your front itr lip...the question is how do you feel about that? and is the difference that drastic or is it the picture? (taken on an angle)
pics at an angle, it doesnt look that bad in real life. Also the bottom of the R lip has a way of camoulflouging itself in dark areas, its at an angle to the ground, you can se it a little better in the first pic.

just came back from a party, guess i had one too many
Very nice! I got a '96 gsr, and also had did a conversion putting a 2000 front end on with itr lip. I had the logo holes shaved, license plate holes shaved, and the "integra" indentation filled in. Im suprised to see anyone else do this, when i was considering it i thought it would be different from the crazy vis looking front ends and a actual jdm front end.
Hey I am about to buy a type R front nose and lip from my friend(he is getting the JDM conversion) my question is how much should I pay for his front mouth and headlights. His front lip is cracked a little(curb). but I am getting the whole car painted along with his front mouth. could you guys tell me what you paid for yours new, the one I am buying is off a 98 itr with 60000 miles. Also do I need his front fenders, I have a 96 GS-R so I am hoping that all I need is the front mouth and lights. Thanks
Hey 97blackteg how much did your insurance go up with that accident. You just ran into a curb and messed up your front mouth on the car right, so you got the insurance company to pay for a TYPE R front mouth, how did you do that, I am interested, maybe I need to find a curb, if your rates didn't go up to much.
also one other thing, what did you hit to make the front mouth not repaiable but not do any damage to the fenders or hood.
Looks SWEET I like the ITR lip, I was thinking about getting the ITR lip but I dont know how much it costs and what has to be done for it to fit, does anyone know?

ITR lip just bolts on the bottom of the 98 bumper. Its like 400.00 from acura, im sure you can find it cheaper. BTW I do not have a CF hood. Its just the amount of polish I used on it made it reflect the sky really well .
