Will AGX's withstand lowering?
what if your car is lowered more than 2" and you blow one. if you tell them it was only loewered 1.5 what would happen? is it a lifetime warranty?
dropping a car that low defeats the purpose of lowering a car. It's not functional, and merely for show. get the air rides and you'll never have a problem with lowering...you can even go 4" down
yeah i guess im noy going to be going lower than 2" but want i really want to find out is if these shocks will withstand a 2" drop and will it ride nice?

I had the AGX's on H&R sports -- (~ 2"f/1.75"r)
They handled it just fine.
Indeed, the warranty is over a 1.5", but I think they can handle 2" just fine. I think lowering beyond 2" is kinda pointless to be honest with you. If you must be a stunna, at least get some konis, they will handle the big drop better.

i have a 2'' drop with agx's they withhold them with no prob. yea it says 1.5 but its been a while and nothing. no complaints here.
They can probably handle the drop fine, but if you're really worried get the Koni's instead. There was a post before abuout the AGXs...they can always tell when you send them in if they were lowered past 1.5"s or not.
I've gone thru some shocks already(regular kyb, agx, tokicos). Just save urself some time and get Konis. They are the last shocks u'll probably ever have to buy.

and i wouldn't go lower on AGX's
I have kyb's on h & r's. Just fine.
But my front right is kinda sqeaking when I make slow right hand turns and turn the wheel to the left, while parking. I was told a little silicone spray where the rubber meets the shock will take care of that ?
Anyone know about this ? Sorry man, I'm not trying to jack your thread but really; the kyb's are great shocks w/ H & R's, they are also easily adjustable.
