I have a Bomz brand strut bar in front and back of my 90 ls teg. Is this a good brand of strut bar? Looks kinda cheap, it can with the car when I bought it.

 

i think all strut bar serves the same purposes. i dont think cusco/spoon strut bar will out perform ebay strut bars. just quality of material, brand name, and cosmetic wise.

 

depends on where you mount it, say for instance, a toothpick like alum bar that mount to both end of the shocks will serve little, if any, purpose. Comared to some of the good ones that mounts to 3, 4 or even 8 points of the chasis or firewall, I believe the latter mentioned will actually help.

 

also the bars with the least amount of joints are stiffer. ie: the nuespeed bar....thas a damn good bar, especially for the price

 

the cheap ones on ebay tend to bend a lot easier than say a neuspeed or an actual itr bar. you get what you pay for

 

what are the chances of no name brand ebay strut bars bending? if its your daily driven, chances are less that it might bend. i have mine on for 3 years and its fine. the only chance of bending is you be doing some mad auto crossing, then yeah maybe chances are higher but that would go for any strut bars.
