Default did i damage my tranny? - drove with low oil

i drove several miles with my tranny whining from, i later found out, low oil. i was probably a quart short (or close to it). it was whining very loud, loud enough to hear it going 50 with the window down. i oil lose probably resulted from either an axle which didn't seat or a damaged axle oil seal. my question is, what are the chances i damaged a transmission bearing?

You have two options:

A. Take it apart and inspect everything yourself (or have a shop do it).

B. Refill the tranny with 'Honda MTF' (get it at your local dealer), make sure there are no leaks, then drive it and see if it makes any noise.

Considering you do option 'B', if there is anything wrong with the tranny, you'll definitely feel/hear it.
