do jdm non-hid headlights have reflectors?
i bought the CATZ hid kit from trevor and everything looks fine, but in the directions it says that if the previous tip of the light-bulb was coated in black the headlights required a reflector or to use the shield provided with the CATZ kit. well, unfortunately, the shield is not in the kit with the hid lightbulbs so will this be a problem? i hope everyone understands what i'm saying.

you don't need it on projector headlights, since the shield inside is what creates the cutoff beam pattern, which is what keep the light on the road and not glaring into people's eyes. It's what allows Integra projectors the ability to do the 9005 conversion for the low beams and not blind people.
great, it makes is so much easier now that i don't have to call trevor to ship the part that is suppose to be included in the kit. well, according to the CATZ manual. anyway, thanks for the info. will post pictures of the jdm front-end later.
