cool, well i thought skunk would be the way to go and looks like you guys think so also... i had a skunk on the b16 head and i wanted somthing that looked diff. but i guess i'm going with a skunk....
No one said anything about itb's. Also if you got $1200 then ALANIZ can make your gsr i/m the same as Erick's Racing. If you are making monster N/A power then a port matched edelbrock manifold with a 68+ throttle body is the way to go. Good luck.
no way a type R intake manifold will fit on a gsr head
the gsr intake manifold is much different...
plus you have the buttflies that have to get wired....
type R's do not have this ....
thats y people put type R intake manifolds on b16's
i've never heard of a gsr intake manifold on a b16...
if you running NA than invest in a manifold made for NA for the power you building

Found 'on the net' -- regarding Type R manifold on a GSR.
Short version -- they don't match.
Unless you've access to the right equipment to modify it, purchase an intake made for the B18C1's intake ports.

Fitting B18C 96 spec.R Manifold into B16A, B17A, B18A, B18B, or B18C1?
spec.R manifold is fully optimized for high rpm breathing. One look at it and you will notice the bigger surge tank, shorter and fatter runners, and also straighter angle. spec.R manifold sits a little lower than the regular B16A manifold because the path from surge tank into cylinder head is straighter.
[...] On B18C1
This fitment requires the most extensive modification. Only the bottom bolts line up. The intake ports are way bigger (taller) on B18C1, the top bolts don't match, and the coolent passage is also off. There are two ways do modify the Type-R manifolt to fit. One is to weld up the coolent passage and re-shape to correct size. Re-do the port to the B18C1 size (however, I think injector will sit far too low and disturb the airflow), and redrill the top bolts. Another way is to cut up the B18C1 two stage manifold and also the Type-R manifold, then weld them together and maybe a little clean up inside the ports is required. This way is probably less work the hacking the R manifold, but you're also cutting up a perfectly good B18C1 manifold.
Shang Chao (fastest B18C1 NA Integra) had RPS modify the manifold to fit. I'm not sure which route he went. But he said he had gain about 3/10th (that's a lot) from using the Type-R manifold alone.
... I hear that the GSR manifold, modified in certain ways, makes more power than a Skunk2 or modded ITR manifold(s).
Whats done is the removal of the 2ndary butterflies and some porting (and possibly some other mods).
Erick @ Erick's racing is the one who I believe, performed this feat. Hit him up if you're interested.

Like I said.

The Modified GSR makes like 13-15+ horsepower in the mid range against the ported edelbrock. But the edelbrock does make about 2hp at peak. If you are competing and money aint no thang then call ALANIZ up. If you are trying to make decent power without spending all the money then go for the edelbrock with a big *** t/b portmatch. Good Luck
