h22 hybrid guys...What did you do about your clutch line?
Pics would be a MAJOR plus.
I've seen most people run the stock Civic hardline to the h22 slave cylinder.
Now my question is...when you got your engine, what originally ran to the slave cylinder?
On my engine, the slave cylinder has a hardline already in it, that runs up above the tranny, near where the shift calbes mount, and from there, is a banjo fitting on a rubber line that then went to the prelude hardline.
Is anybody elses tranny setup like this?
I've been told to run it to the slave cylinder directly.....but doing that, i'd have to block off TWO hydraulic lines. It just doesn't seem like the right way to do it...
Can anybody show me some close up pics of the top of the tranny case/slave cylinder area?
Poison and I are trying to get this figured out...but in the meantime I can't stand waiting for him to get his pics up.
I've been looking at Fastwanabe's pics, and his is run straight to the slave cylinder, and from what I can tell, he doesn't have the other lines that I'm seeing. I'm wayyy confused.
Sorry for the long post. TIA.

drooooool. what car is that in?EDIT:
just found out. from the banjo fitting on the original setup, there is a line that goes to a clutch dampener(sp?) then from there its a hard line to the clutch master.

i dont have any pics but i just used the stock h22a line and hooked it into my stock CX line(the rubber side) , it will go from hard to a "mount" then to a rubber line, i rebent the h22a line over to where the "rubber" line on the car is and hooked it up there. if that makes sense? dont ask poison he doesnt know ****, LOL. i had to tell him how to do 1/2 his swap
ok Jon, you're on
I'm looking for my pics now on We-todd. I'll post 'em up if i have 'em in we-todd right now, if i don't have any, I'm posting tonight indefinitely.

you're wrong snurl, you're supposed to use the civic bubber line on the lude slave cylinder.

to me ROFL.
so the thing on top of the tranny that has a banjo fitting attached to a rubber line is the clutch damper?
Is that what I'm reading?
Anybody know what L'Orange's civic hardline is attached to? I noticed his slave cylinder hardline goes up over the tranny like mine does.

Wouldn't that just bypass the whole stock assembly? Why would one want to do this? I mean obviously, it's there for a reason
sorry should have explained it better. from the clutch master there is a hard line, that goes to a dampener(sp?) or resiouvr(sp?)(actually i have no clue what it is! lol) then from that there is a rubber line that attaches to the banjo fitting. i know what you saying about bypassing what was originally there. my friend and i are arguing about this right now because he doesnt have it and he says it works fine.

just to clear things up...i don't have the stock civic rubber line...so that might pose some of my problem.
all I have is the civic hardline....and the rubber line attached to a banjo fitting on top of the h22 tranny. To get it to work, I need this line lengthened, or a custom line to go between my civic hardline and the end of the h22 rubber line.

i dont have a rubber line on my civic either. i really dont know exactly what poison or timmay are speaking of. i hope one of them posts pics.
Ok, you won't need any of that on top of the tranny. Just simply connect the Civic hydraulic clutch line directly to the prelude slave cylinder using the Civic rubber line.
i dont understand, is there supposed to be a rubber line on the civic?
To make it work with the Prelude Slave Cylinder, you remove all lines and such on the prelude tranny, and use the factory civic rubber hose and put that directly onto the prelude slave cylinder on the tranny...
make sense?
haha, problem is that i don't have a stock civic line!
But I guess I now know I need to get one.
So I just disregard all the stuff on the top of the tranny? What is this stuff anyway?
How exactly do I bypass it? I mean there's obviously fluid and crap flowing around in there

Awesome...I finally got a good look at this thing above the tranny, and it turns out I can unbolt it and bend the entire line out!
So I can get it pretty dang close to the stock civic hardline, which means I can use the stock Prelude rubber line with it
Thanks for the pic Fastwanabe!

you gotta do it on whatever program you use to view pictures.
For instance, I use 'PM View'
There's always a feature that you can use to downsize/upsize.
For instance....I go to 'Transform'....and then 'Size'...and then I can do whatever percentage I want.
I usually do 50% of the original size for larger pics.
