Default Greddy Exhaust Setup On LS

I have a question I am looking to get a new exhaust setup on my 98 LS, I was wondering if in the future when I wanted to do a manual conversion would it be pointless to get the exhaust now. The reason I ask is because I want to get a basic exhaust, headers, and intake setup now.

why would it be pointles? iit will still improve ur cars performance.. and there is no difference in parts for the auto vs manual. so u can keep it after u do the tranny swap
