ok real quick...i swapped a 2000 b16 into a 93 civic si..the car got hit and he bought a 97 civic dx hatch. i swapped the b16 into the 97 dx no problem. there wasn't a evap purge control solenoid valve....the 93 didn't need it. so i swapped the 97 evap purge control valve.... but now i'm getting a high idle and slight hesitation under partial throttle. it's also making a lot of noise from the evap control canister (hissing noise from the vacuum). i really don't want to make this kid go out and buy another evap purge control valve if he doesn't have to...any body got an idea or cheap fix?

oh btw it's using a chipped p28 with a skunk 2 obd II -obd I conversion harness..and i did try other ecus.
