Ever since I went to the track, my car seems slower. I don't know if its just like a mental thing or something but it does. I also don't feel vtec anymore. I can sure hear it, but when i hear it... i dont feel much pulling. is it posible to lose vtec? lol, maybe its just my mind playing games on me.

 

If you can hear it then it's still working. When my vtec solinoid went out my car would cut out at vtec engagement.

 

maybe its your jdm conversion. i think you should take it off and give it to me. then you will have no problems with vtec engaging.

what has th weather been like?...if it has been warmer, you may be loosing some horsepowe because of that.

 

me and brian were planning on going too, but the day before he broke an axle. so wasn't going. so then I was going to meet up with dan gsr and head over there, but i got a freaking flat tire. so i go to change out the wheel but the wheel lock breaks so it doesn't grip anymore. oh and the actually wheel key is stripped too so it doesn't work with any of the locks. so i was up to like around 3:30am trying to get the wheel lock off before i said F*CK IT! I can't drive the car over 65 without it shaking violenty i was really pissed because I was so ready to go. got my nitrous installed like two days before it happened too. oh well....me and brian are planning another LI meet soon. hopefully we can get some people to the track in the hamptons. that would be fun.

by the what did your car run at the track?

 

my car is slowww... lol, i ran 15.6 I made it to the 2nd or 3rd round of brackets (cant remember) and lost cause my dumbass missed a shift. oh well.

 

don't feel bad bro, thats what I ran last time at the track. i had some really crappy 60'ft times and some cheapo $45 tires . are you going this sunday by any chance?
i made it to one of the final rounds until i fouled. hehe if you were at the track you would have heard me cursing from the stands

 

yea, i kinda didnt expect much better. it was my first time at the track and I didnt really race before so dont have much expierence. I don't race on the street eighter so it was a very good expierence. i want to go again but i cant because of work. when i find another job im going to quit this one so i have more spare time to do other things like goto the track! its so addictive now... im hooked! I just hope i dont break anything.

not really lol... i was thinking about how ugly the civic next to me was with stickers all over. i was just excited the whole time wanting to go back for more and more. there werent that many people so i got a lot of runs in. I was just really confused on where the hell to go and what to do. af first i couldnt even find the way to the back where they staged and had to ask someone. lol
