Default Hitech exhaust

I was on their web site looking at the price lists and the Honda street header is $1000, the drag race one is $1300. I assume the drag header just has a silencer canister at the end of the collector, has slightly larger piping, what is the difference? Does anybody here have one? Do you run a drag header on the street? Is it better than TODA or Spoon? I saw that they made exhausts for Indy Cars and top race teams so these guys must be awesome.

I nominate stick to be a pseudo-mod....

Lip and Tony the Tiger are the Hi Tech users here so they can tell you lots of firsthand experience...all positive. I haven't seen John around for awhile.

As I said to John: it should be sitting in the MOMA or something as a sculpture. He laughed and said he would prefer you put it on the car....

Very nice header. I still can't get over the fact Lip ran almost the same time as sgt with a broken axle...amazing....

cheers

You will require a custom 2.5" catalytic converter with the Hytech setup. I'm not sure if it (the header) has bungs for both 02 sensors, but it is likely you will need extensions to the wires for the 02 sensors if they are there. You will also need a custom B-pipe.

It does, on for the primary, and the cat will have the other O2 sensor.

You will need to extend the wires running to both O2 sensors.
...You will also need a custom B-pipe.
The header is just a little bit longer than stock, so you will need to modify the B-pipe of your exhaust system.

Not a broken axle....a broken pressure plate on that run and 2.1 60' time. My mph was 109mph though missing third gear etc
