Default how to clean/keep clean white wheels?

my wheels become so dirty with just regular driving. so im wondering how can I keep them clean, and also how can I clean them good to begin with because they have some stains that wont come off with soap/water. any specific brake pads known for having less dust?

i use armor all's wheel cleaner. works good. you may have to use a lot for the bad parts. as for keeping them clean...

take the wheels off your car. and was them. then wash them again just to make sure you have them as clean as you can get them. then use some car wax, i use carnuba (sp) car wax yellow can. and wax like you would your car. after wax dries, wipe off with clean cotten rage or old t-shirt. and va-la. now all you have to do is keepup cleaning you wheels on a reg. basis. the brake dust will come right off, with wax on your wheels. just make sure you really detail your wheels after the wax. dont want any dried spots

Use some Tar and bug remover to get nasty asphalt stains off, and clean religously

My JDM Wheels were horrible when I got them. Rubbing alcohol also works!

Alcohol will actually destroy the protective coating. And the safe stuff for wheels isnt getting all the baked on brake dust off. I used P21S because its guarnteed not to damage the finish, but its not getting everything off. You guys are NO help. BTW mine are the dirty *** wheels above.

I used rubbing alchohol to get maker stains off of my wheels, works and still looks good.

Theyre 4X114.3 like the older prelude hubs. But with rear disc.

HOLY MOTHER!!!!!
BEFORE

AFTER

Now I just need to get the damn marker off. You say rubbing alcohol will work, worth a try...
These are the cleaners I used. Dont waste your time or money with the P21S, the Red bottle of Megiars did the most.

If corrosive wheel cleaner doesnt remove the marker, goo gone wont, tried it.

castrol makes some badass degreaser and cleaner. i was rollin on some white sprint hart's and when i was about to put them on they were really dirty. a detailer i know used some diluted castrol...washed them and rinsed them. they came out really good after a couple of months of brake dust sitting on them.

the detailer also said you can clear coat the wheels and it will stay shiney for a long time.
