WTB: Frost White Exterior paint in Spray Can
I wanted to buy some exterior stock color frost white spray paint and I wanted it to be in a spray can. I just need to paint the moldings and side skirts and some little touch ups. Does anyone have this? I guess I'll need more than one can. Anybody with knowledge can help too.
You should be able to go into any industrial paint shop/ supply store and bring in your cars gas cap/door they can color match it perfect and put it into a spray can for about $11.00 and its good stuff. Just look for a local ppg retailer.. hope this helps.
It depends on the preperation of the item painting. It can look really nice. Shoot a couple of coats of clear and you'd be good. PPG paint or any other paint bought from an automotive paint retailer is selling you the EXACT same paint used to spray the whole cars.. Just in smaller amounts. You're not going to get the quailty of a professional gun.. but if your just using it as touch up or to color match parts or even wheels, it can come out really nice. Just make sure you do a good prep job before painting, i.e. stripping, sanding down, primering (if necessary), etc.
