finally got my 86 crx si running after like 6 months with ti sitting around....the motor wouldnt crank but somehow it turned over and after messin with it got it to run.....gonna have to get a winshield bleed the brakes and put the exhuast on it hopefully have it done to drive to the maple grove meet next sunday....

 

Congrats man. Always feels good knowing you did it yourself.

what kind of motor in the 86?

 

DOM is the man.hopefully my parts will be here and we will roll together,plus we pulled my boys blown zc out today were gonna drop in my old a6 so he can gop to the meet/you guys have got to see the pics of this block once i develeop them.the rod blew holes on both sides of the block.14lb greddy on a zc.

 

is labeled a EW4 its a d15a(insert honda # here) but its the mpfi 12valve motor similar to the carbed dx and hf motor....i have a d16a1(us 87 teg) motor with a blown up tranny for it but the tranny is fubar....
i try Jose i try maybe turbo the lil sunofa found a dx manifold in the back in a 87 dx hatch looks like a HF manifold have a t3 ready too
