Default I know. I know. I shouldn't be doing this, but people need to know.

Just ordered pads through Matt at Carbotech.

Great customer service and answered my questions promptly and thoroughly.

Another satisfied customer.

Order your pads through Carbotech. They will have something that suits your needs.

Thank you!

Why not... their competition gets more than enough free press around here...

you know, it's pretty cool. We have two great brake pad companies here. Carbotech and Cobalt. Both have outstanding customer service (in my experience, anyway) and both make damn good pads - oh yeah, and they both give us a discount.
How freaking awesome is that?

AJ, you'll be happy with them I'm sure. Big props to Carbotech from me.

Pretty freaking awesome actually. Two companies falling all over themselves to help us track ****** is the BEST kind of problem to have.

I bedded in my new cobalt pads today (sort of, they need another round).

Man, they stink in ways i could have never imagined from a carbotech pad

The smell that is....... performance, well I'll know more this weekend.

I'll second this... Carbotech in general (and MaddMatt in particular) have hooked me up on repeated occasions with great advice and great brake products. Hell, the Miata pads I ordered from Matt last week showed up *the next day* despite ordering in the afternoon and specifying UPS Ground shipping... can't beat that! Furthermore, Carbotech boss Larry Narcus has forgotten more about performance braking than most of us will ever know. Ask 'em about brakes and they will tell you until you are bored to tears... I haven't yet seen any legitimate reason to try any other company... so I won't.

Glad I saw this post, as I was about to post one of my own! Thanks Matt, the level of customer service you provide is awesome man, and the pads I received, after bedding them in, amazing. I never thought I would get that kind of braking on a mostly stock setup. On the drive home after bed in and cool down, I accidentally used as much pedal pressure as before install (also replaced a caliper that I hadn't known was leaking) and about flat spotted my Azenis

to MaddMatt
to Carbotech Panther Plus.

Carbotech is good stuff! Andie was very good (way back when he used to work for them.)

Mike, sticking with Carbotech brake pads because he knows they work well.
