Default Question about ECU's for a 2000 GSR

I have gotten a hold of a Type R ecu with a TODA B chip and its for the first OBD2 cars and i have a 2000 GSR....the question i have is would i just need a first OBD2 harness for it to used in my car...or would i have to get a aftermarket harness for my car....thanks for help

I could be wrong, but I think it should just plug in. I wouldn't use it unless you have the Skunk2 IM, Toda B bumpsticks, etc. If you put it on and you have stock IM then you secondary runners will not open.

i don't think obd2 v2 car is compatible w/ obd2 v1 ecu. and i dont know of any harness that enables you to use an obd2 v1 ecu.
