Is Car Guys gonna run the same early special for the VIR full event in Aug?
Hey all,
I remember Car Guys did a special of $500 for the 3 day event at VIR full in August. I didn't have the $$$ last year and promised myself I would do it this year. The event is on there calendar but no mention of the special. Anyone got any info? I'm giddy just thinking about it.

Me too. It's the one track weekend this year that I'm planning on attending. The others, well they may get me there, and maybe not.

Woo - I think I'd save up for that!! I plan on attending Carguys at Summit in June hopefully

Ask Jack (b18cxr) he'll probably know something. Last year, the discount was on their site for, I believe, the entire year -- similar to the way their "packages" are now.
Considering Sat/Sun was full last year I'm not sure what their motivation would be to give a discount. You've probably noticed that all their prices went up this year.

Is august here yet? It feels like it up here. 80 deg and sunny. Weird considering I was freezing on sunday.

I will be there watching. IF yo uthink the car racing is intense go to the bike races it crazy they wreck going down the straight away going 170mph+ its insane.

They're laid out through the kink in the front straight at 190+ where most of us pedestrian tintop drivers are coasting through at 100-120 without hardly noticing it.

the schedule and price have been out for a while. I'm just waiting for the special that was run last year. It was a VERY good deal.

stevel and myself are thinking about going as well. if i go i'll have to find/borrow a tow rig b/c there is no way in hell i am driving my car all the way down there and back.

I drove the 3day vir last year, but I will be flaggin it this year because the :cash: is low, even if i did have a :car: to drive.
