Default 215/45/17 tires too big?

The reason I ask is because I have a chance to get these tires for my rims at a really great price from a friend. Will these tires be too big or will I be pushing it? Any help will be appreciated.

they should be fine , i woulf go 40's though is possible.
i had 215-40-17's on my other teg and now on my ep .
the 45's will increase the overall rolling diameter by a little.

45's will be pushing it. Is your car lowered?

40's might even rub a bit. I'd go with 40's.
