Default Questions about Comptech 4-2-1 header

Hi all. Sorry, I did a search, but archive is disabled and I need some quick answer. What is the difference between TIG and MIG welded? Is it made out of stainless steel? Is Comptech 4-2-1 recommanded? Is it bolt on the stock R exhaust setup? What is the life span on it? Anyone have any problem with it (ie. crack etc)? Sorry for all the quesitons as I don't have any knowledge on header, thanks in advance!

The TIG & MIG difference is cosmetic. It takes more time to make cleaner welds.

I recommend it for a lightly modded car.

? A really, really long time.

Anyone have any problem with it (ie. crack etc)?
No problems here.

Thank you very much NBP #0933!

One last question, is Comptech 4-2-1 header a good mod for stock catback? I don't want to change the catback since I am never a big fan of loud exhaust and I just plan to mod my car lightly. Thanks!

i am looking into gettting a comptech header and i cant decide between the 4-1 and the 4-2-1. i really dont care about the MIG or TIG, and apparently it doesnt seem to make a difference. i want to know if with my AEM cai, and a Apexi N1 catback, which would make the most noticeable gains on my 2000 Si.
