I am interested in these coilovers, can anyone tell me more info on them. I do attend track events but mostly, i will be using them on the streets. I was told that the Apexi is actully in a higher level than the other 2....is this true? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

 

I drove a friends GSR with ITR conversion and Apex N1s. Very nice.

Big difference in price between the 99 spec and 2000 spec N1s; the 99s have a smaller piston (46mm?) and DRealGSR reported there were some problems with them in Japan.

 

I have the 99 Spec and I have not had any problems. The only problem about them is finding them. They ride really nice. I love the quality. The piston is smaller than the 00 spec, but you really don't need that big of a piston unless you are doing some serious driving. Is a bigger piston really worth another $1000? Not to me. I am very satisfied with my N-1's and I am sure you would be to. If you decide on getting them, good luck finding them. Who knows, they might not be that hard to find after all. Oh yeah, I have had them for about 4 months (and I check them on a regular basis when I wash my car) and there is no rust either.
