I bought a set of used itr valve springs, but they came a big ol' jumble. How do I tell which ones are intake and which ones are exhaust. I suppose I could use the spring pressure, but I don't have a itr helms and I really don't want to buy a helms just for that. Are the intake and exhaust the same? Help please?

 

Should be a set (16) of blue and a set (16) of yellow ones. I think.

I am not sure of the locations. They are not the same... IN/EX are different.
There is also a top and bottom. Closer winds go on the bottom.

you will need a manual or an experience honda tech to help you out OR bring them back to the person who sold them to you and have them figure it out.

 

Yeah, I figured if I had the springs pressures, I could figure it out. I just don't want to buy a helms just for this. I already have two of them (civic and integra). I'll see if my local acura dealership will let me look at their Helms. They have before...
