Alright, my car ticks and I'm not sure whats causing it or what it is. It only does it frm about 1/4-1/2 throttle. It does'nt do it at all when I'm off the gas, and after about 1/2 throttle, it stops doing it again. But if I hold it steady between 1/4 and 1/2 it ticks. Its not extremely loud, the stereo on normal volume will make it inaudible, you can hear it with no music though. I've been told everything from it bein my valves, to my fuel pressure regulator, to some part of my fuel pump, to my fuel return system.

My repair manuel says a few of these:

incorrect grade of fuel (I always run 93, don't think thats it)
ignition timing incorrect (had timing retartded 1 degree)
fuel injection system faulty (dunno how to check that one)
improper or damaged spark plugs or wires
worn or damaged distributor components
EGR valve not functioning

Now these are for a ping or knock, but mine is more of a tick. Like one of the old clocks do, "tick tick tick"

Or could it possibly be that there is a leak in my header.
