I know I have said this repeatedly to the both of you, but just wanted you guys to know that you have a support group here for you all the way. Gumball3000 will be a total success. Just wait and see! There is no such thing as failing from here on out!

I'm kind of new here, but i've been watching your progress from long time ago here in HT...I barely couldn't believe it when i heard a 4t gen lude will be going to the gumball 3000.

I imagine you guys must have gone through some really hard times to build up the ultimate lude...but it seems it was worth it when you will see the look on the faces of all the Ferrari and Lambos guys when you pass

I wish you the best of lucks, and I hope you do great on the gumball...when you guys are there, speeding your way over 160 MPH remember that a lot of HT'ers and especially, Luders are cheering for ya...

Many lude owners over here are also cheering for ya...don't dissapoint the fans y0!

Dont listen to those ******** that arent even in the rally that talk about have
when italian exotics are 10 days old they will break down

when does the Gumball 3000 start?

 

I bought my t-shirt and added about well lets see the price of 91 gas is 1.80-2.00 so I got them 2.5 gallons worth. I feel so previlaged to know that 2.5 gallons of my gas will be used to fly at 140 at least.

Wow... you guys really don't know how much this means to us. (Mike and I)

Sam, I need you there. Mike has offered to help pay for your gas. But I need you. What I lack in my head, you have stored in yours. When I pass out from exhaustion, you have to take over.

We're both going through hell right now. If any of you are in the Atlanta area this weekend, you can come and watch/help us assemble/install/turbo an H22A in my car.

We'll be doing it all on our own, with just friends in a guy's garage I've only met once, since an unnammed "sponsor" shop is making me "buy" my motor back in pieces.

I don't know about how we'll get gas money, I don't know how well I'll represent you guys, I don't know a lot of things right now. I'm not sure about a lot of stuff that's going to go on this motor, I'm not too sure about a lot of gauges that I have, I'm not sure if I have enough money to get the tranny fixed, and I sure as hell don't know how to fix it myself. But I'm going out in flaming glory in one of two ways... either the car itself, or out the exhaust on my way to whoop Ferraris in cali.

I will sweat, bleed, and cry for this car... I barely eat, and I sure as hell don't sleep. Knowing that people out there like you guys are pulling for me makes me just want to work harder.

I will do everything I can not to let you guys down. I will run myself into the ground before I will let you guys down.

***** yeah. I see now why you've changed your name. I see how you can not know many things. I see now that you're are going to try, damnit you will try you best for sure. We honda-techers (especially the luders) are soo damn proud of you, it seems you're going through tough times, but I know for a fact you will come through... i don't know how, but i have no doubt in my mind you will succeed. Succeed in what way? Well, to drive that lude at the gumball alongside those lambs and ferrys. Passing them or not, you will always remain Todd and Mike (two special luders). i am there man, not a problem, one of my friends that helped wiht my car is considering coming as well, even though we are supposed to be having a birthday party for him saturday , my dad's store doesn't close until 4:00 on saturday, but i might be able to get out around 2ish. i will get to ATL is fast as i can, i can contact you later for directions

I, like many other HT members envy you both... I tried my best to convince my firm that they should sponsor me in the gumball but i think its safe to say that they just arent buying my story about it being in their best interests.. (too bad we dont do traffic ticket defense.. lol) anyhow, Best of luck to you both running the gumball... We are all pulling for you, and cant wait to hear all of the post gumball stories which i am sure you will come home with your fair share... Its nice to see a prelude representing in the gumball, and i am sure you guys will turn plenty of heads and **** off a ton of people as you blow by the exotics... You have no idea how much I needed this post.

From all this work on the car and the money spent and everything, I am almost broke, my girlfriend is about to leave me, and I have to go 10 hours with out pay at work to go on the gumball, and I am trying to get over the flu. I can not take any sick leave since I am using every bit of time for the rally.

I have fought and fought with my girlfriend, and last night was another breaking point, we are slowly falling apart, and this car and this event is the last thing holding me up.
Things like this help me get past another day, and I thank every one for their support...... financial and emotional

 

if you guys need anything else, let me know. i really wish that i would be able to get to atlanta this weekend but it just wont work out. I know you have sams' AVCR but i have a VAFC in my trunk if you need that as well.

 

I will always be glad to help you guys. let me know if welding is still needed for the car, if you get it back to huntsville before the rally, we can try and set something up.

Support will come from the H-T masses, not flacky shops!!!!
