would make a good handle for lowering the tranny when changing the clutch also. Nice craftsmanship

Very nice! Did you get it into a vehicle yet? If so how is the pedal feel?
Also, is the cable thicker? Its been awhile but it looks thicker than when I last saw one.
Once again excellent job!

soooo........ does this let you use a hydro tranny in an EF? couldn't you install a hydro system from an EG and get it to work? very nice, though and yeah, clean that thing up!

Correct me if im wrong.....but doesnt it use different mounting points as well? requiring a different mount kit or just modification to existing mount kits?

i second this

it looks very nice. would a different tranny mount be needed though if someone is putting a hydro tranny in an EF chasis?

Sweet, simple concept but nice. You could probably make it less bulky though and let me know when you get a price on it. ;D good work

I think for years now, Place Racing has had a bracket for hydro trannies into EDs. But I believe it requires welding of some sort. Anyone got any more info on that?

Personally, I don't mind cable trannies at all. I've seen quite a few hydro trannies with problems too.

you're not the only one, trust me

not nearly as common though. the synchros in the hydro trannies will outlast those in JDM cable trannies any day, i guarantee you that. unless of course the driver doesnt know how to drive, but thats another story...

i'd rather have it bulky and strong, rather than small and weak. its not like you could use the space for something else....keep in mind how much force it takes to move the clutch lever. have you ever tried to move one by hand? its impossible. i stepped on mine and it still wouldnt move so its important that this thing is built like a tank so that it doesnt warp or anything.

You see..cable trannies are hard to come by now days (i'm an importer so I know it's very hard to get those). If i blew a hydro tranny...i can locate one faster than i can w/ my cable.

Yup. The abudance of hydro trannies are the benefit. The big plan for me is to get a 92-93 DA casing and swap in the guts from a hydro trans...if I ever find the $$$ and time.

that's when swaps on crx just got popular. and 60% of those trannies have bad synchros. Now, it's even harder to find a cable tranny in great condition..
