Crazy stuff just went on with my car...
I was going out to eat with my girlfriend and she asked "how do you peel out with a stick shift car?" so i showed her and when i went to do it..i reved it up to about 5500 and slowly popped the clutch. It was a little uphill and when i did it..my car was in first gear and it didnt even move. it just stayed in the same place adn rolled back a lil with the rpms rising. obviously after that i turned off my car and let it cool down. it smelled like clutch the whole drive home which is like 15 miles. why would this happen? it scared me..
[glendale talk]duh br0 your openin up to much vtechabro[/glendale talk]...lol sup mahn havent seen u in awhile...but yah it sounds like your clutch...or should i say "smells" like your clutch

hahaha ya dude. shes like wtf? thats it? im like no somethin went wrong so i let it cool down and tried again and it worked and she liked it LOL
I got no idea man..i have had the car for almost 3 years, i bought it at 56k now its at 85k. I dont remember when the previous owner put a new one in, but its time for me too. so im guessing like 35k miles. how much should a stock one last for?
your stock and original one would be going out around the miles that you got on it probably. the spring in mine just popped @ 64k...which is pretty lame. anyway, does your clutch slip too? like everyone said, it's a sign that your clutch is on its way out. btw, why didn't you just dump the clutch? if you let it out slowly at high RPMs, that's madd burnination dude.
